LOUISVILLE, Ky. – In-state Atlantic Sun Conference rivals EKU and Bellarmine will meet on the volleyball court for the first time this season on Wednesday in Louisville.
 
The match is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and will air live on ESPN+.
 
THE COLONELS
-  EKU (10-7, 1-3 ASUN) suffered a pair of road losses at North Alabama and Central Arkansas over the weekend.
 
-  Sarah Mitchell is sixth in the ASUN with 3.95 points per set, seventh with 3.46 kills per set and ninth with 3.24 digs per set.
 
-  As a team, EKU is second in the ASUN in points (16.81/set), kills (13.10/set) and assists (12.10/set).  The Colonels are third in blocks (2.25/set) and fourth in hitting percentage (.211).
 
-  Paige Wagers is first in the conference with 1.33 blocks per set.
 
-  Madi Tolzman is fifth in the league with 0.38 aces per set.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
-  Bellarmine stands at 4-10 overall and 1-3 against ASUN teams this season.  The Knights have lost three straight since opening the conference schedule with a 3-0 win over Austin Peay.  
 
-  Sophomore outside hitter Natalie Bland leads Bellarmine, and is third in the ASUN, with an average of 3.69 kills per set. 
 
-  The Knights use one setter.  Kylie Vanhoy averages 8.85 assists, 1.28 kills and a team-best 0.31 aces per set.  The junior is fourth in the conference in assists.
 
-  Jayda Harris, a 6-foot-2 senior middle blocker, averages a team-high 0.76 blocks per set.  Mara Perry leads the team with 3.44 digs per set.

-  EKU holds a 9-3 advantage in the all-time series against Bellarmine.
