RICHMOND, Ky. - The Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis team (19-6, 4-2 ASUN) secured a 5-2 victory against No. 68 Stetson (14-5, 4-3 ASUN) on Friday at the Greg Adams Tennis Center, marking the first time in program history that EKU defeated a ranked opponent.
 
To begin the dual match, Ryan Kitchin and Kristoffer Stahlbrand won their doubles match from the No. 3 court, 6-1. Moritz Mayer and Mario Monclus Martin won their 12th doubles match of the season as a pair from the No. 2 position, 6-2, giving the Colonels a one-point advantage.
 
Evzen Holis earned a straight-set victory in singles play from the No. 1 spot, 7-5, 6-4.
 
Fernando Bulnes claimed his 13^th singles win of the season from the No. 2 court, 6-2, 7-5.
 
Stahlbrand clinched the match for the Colonels from the No. 5 position, 6-2, 7-6 (7-3).
 
J.Anurag Reddy secured the victory in his singles match from the No. 6 spot, 6-1, 4-6, 10-4.
