FLORENCE, Ala. – Eastern Kentucky University's volleyball team will make it second straight weekend road trip, starting at North Alabama on Friday.

Friday's match in Florence will begin at 7 p.m. ET. The Colonels will play at Central Arkansas on Sunday at 2 p.m. Et. Both contests will air live on ESPN+.

THE COLONELS
- EKU (13-7, 5-3 ASUN) split a pair of matches on the road last weekend, sweeping North Florida before suffering a 3-0 loss at Jacksonville. The Colonels are tied for fourth in the ASUN.

Cassidy Trahan led the Atlantic Sun Conference last week with an average of 5.33 digs per set in two matches. She had a match-best 20 at first place Jacksonville and a match-high 12 against North Florida. For the season, she is now first in the conference with 4.19 digs per set.

Carson Ledford is hitting .415 and averaging 1.11 blocks per set. During that span, she has recorded 30 kills and made only three errors in 65 attempts.

Emilee Hill is eighth in the ASUN with 6.09 assists per set.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- North Alabama is 11-10 overall and tied with EKU for fourth place in the conference with a 5-3 league mark. The Lions saw a 3-match winning streak come to an end with a 3-2 loss at Queens on Sunday. Â

- Kendall Barnes, a junior outside hitter who transferred from Ball State, leads the team with 3.66 kills per set. Sophomore outside Reese Ricketts, the 2024 ASUN Freshman of the Year, is contributing 3.17 kills per set.Â

- Central Arkansas is 10-8 on the season, but sits second in the conference with a 7-1 ASUN record. The Sugar Bears have won three straight since suffering their only league setback, a 3-0 decision at home against Florida Gulf Coast.

- Laci Bohannan, a junior outside hitter, leads the team with 3.26 kills per set. Sophomore Karlyn Frazier (1.29) and redshirt freshman McKinzee Haas (1.05) both average more than 1.00 blocks per set. As a team, UCA is second in the conference in blocks with 2.23 per set.Â
