RICHMOND, Ky. – After playing four straight matches on the road, and posting wins in three of them, the Eastern Kentucky University volleyball team will return home to host Lipscomb and Austin Peay this weekend.
Friday's tilt with Lipscomb is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. ET. Saturday's contest against APSU is set for 4 p.m. ET. Both matches will air live on ESPN+.
"Spike or Treat" is scheduled for the match on Friday. Those who come in a costume will receive a ticket for $1. There will also be mini trick-or-treat stations set up. Kids Day is scheduled for Saturday. Kids Club members get FREE admission. There will be a foam finger giveaway, Kona Ice and a post-match autograph session with the team.
THE COLONELS
- After winning two matches on the road over the weekend, the Colonels moved into a second-place tie in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings at 7-3. Florida Gulf Coast and Central Arkansas are also 7-3. EKU is 15-7 overall.
- For the second time this season,
Addison Burke was chosen as the ASUN Freshman of the Week on Monday. In two wins last week, Burke averaged 4.00 kills, 2.88 digs and 0.13 blocks.
- In EKU's two wins combined last week, the Colonels had a .326 team attack percentage and four players posted an attack percentage above .390.

Emilee Hill posted a triple-double against Central Arkansas, finishing with 17 assists, 11 kills and 10 digs to go along with three blocks. She now has seven triple-doubles this season and 12 in her career.
- Over the past eight matches,
Carson Ledford is hitting .440 and averaging 0.96 blocks per set. During that span, she has recorded 45 kills and made only five errors in 91 attempts.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Lipscomb is 10-10 overall and 6-4 in conference matches. The Bisons have won three straight and are tied with two other teams for fifth place in the ASUN, just one game out of a second place tie.
- Courtney Jones is first in the ASUN with 4.12 kills. The senior outside hitter has 232 more attack than anyone else on the team. Berkley Mischler, a senior middle blocker, leads the team with 0.77 blocks per set.
- Austin Peay is 4-18 overall and 2-8 in league matches. The Lady Govs are 2-2 in their last four matches, including a 3-2 road win over FGCU.
- Taly Cloyd, a sophomore transfer from Louisiana-Monroe, leads APSU with 2.89 kills per set. Reagan Anderson is contributing 4.07 digs per set.
INSIDE THE SERIES
- EKU is 11-6 all-time against Lipscomb. The Bisons picked up a 3-0 win earlier this season in Nashville and have won three straight in the series.
- The Colonels are 48-27 all-time against Austin Peay, and have won six straight between the two programs. EKU beat the Lady Govs, 3-0, in Clarksville earlier this season.
