RICHMOND, Ky. – The conference schedule is set for the Eastern Kentucky University football team in 2026, with the United Athletic Conference announcing the league's official schedule on Wednesday morning.
 
The conference slate features three home games with three road matchups as the league moves from nine teams in 2025 to seven in 2026 with the departure of Southern Utah and Utah Tech to the Big Sky Conference.
 
The Colonels' conference schedule begins with two home games at CB Bank Field at Roy Kidd Stadium against North Alabama on Saturday, October 3, and then against West Georgia the following Saturday, October 10.
 
EKU will then have back-to-back road games after two weeks, traveling to face Tarleton State on Saturday, October 31, and Austin Peay on November 7.
 
The final home game of the 2026 season will see Central Arkansas coming to Richmond on Saturday, November 14.
 
The regular season on the road as the Colonels return to Texas to face Abilene Christian on Saturday, November 21.
 
EKU's complete 2026 schedule with non-conference opponents will be announced at a later date.
