RICHMOND, Ky. – New baseball head coach Jan Weisberg will throw out the first pitch during the EKU Night at the Lexington Legends game on August 28.
 
The game is scheduled to begin at 6:45 p.m. at Legends Field in Lexington.  Those who purchase tickets will receive a co-branded EKU and Legends hat.  One hat with each ticket purchased.
 
Fans at the game will have a chance to win two tickets to EKU's football game at Louisville on August 30.  There will also be ticket information available for the Colonels' home football games this season. 
 
The EKU cheer squad will be in attendance as well.

Weisberg was selected as EKU's new head coach in May.  In 19 seasons as a head coach, he has compiled a record of 595-253-1 for a winning percentage of .701.  Weisberg has led his teams to 14 conference titles, nine NCAA Regional appearances, three trips to the NCAA Super Regionals and two College World Series (2019, 2024) appearances.
