EKU Announces 2026 Baseball Schedule

RICHMOND, Ky. –
Eastern Kentucky University has announced its 2026 baseball schedule.
 
Season tickets are on sale now at the link above or by calling 859-622-2122.
 
The Colonels will open the season with a 3-game series at Alabama State Feb. 13-15. 
 
The first home game of 2026 is set for Feb. 17 against in-state rival Northern Kentucky. 
 
The next eight games will be on the road, starting with four at Dayton (Feb. 20-22).  EKU will play at Louisville on Feb. 24.  The Colonels travel to New Orleans for a 3-game series at Tulane Feb. 27-March 1. 
 
The team returns to Earle Combs Stadium to host Kentucky on March 3.  EKU will play at UK on March 4.
 
Illinois State is set to visit Richmond for three games March 6-8.  Two midweek games at Middle Tennessee and at Western Kentucky await the Colonels on March 10-11. 
 
The Atlantic Sun Conference schedule starts with Central Arkansas at home on March 13-15.
 
EKU will play at Tennessee on March 17 and make the first league road trip of the season March 20-22 at North Alabama.
 
Long time rival Morehead State will come to Richmond on March 24.  The Colonels play at Lipscomb March 27-29 and then host Austin Peay on April 2-4.  Another game against a national championship contender is scheduled for April 7 at Vanderbilt.
 
A home series against Bellarmine on April 10-12 will lead into a midweek game at home against Kentucky State on April 14.  After three games at Central Arkansas April 17-19, EKU will host Western Kentucky on April 21 and North Alabama for a 3-game set April 24-26.
 
The final non-conference game of the regular season will be at Northern Kentucky on April 28.  The regular season ends with a home series against Lipscomb (May 1-3) before back to-back road series against Austin Peay (May 8-10) and Bellarmine (May 14-16).
 
The ASUN Conference Tournament will be held in DeLand, Florida May 19-23.
 
Jan Weisberg was selected as EKU's new head coach in May.  In 19 seasons as a head coach, he has compiled a record of 595-253-1 for a winning percentage of .701.  Weisberg has led his teams to 14 conference titles, nine NCAA Regional appearances, three trips to the NCAA Super Regionals and two College World Series (2019, 2024) appearances.
