RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's volleyball team will take a 7-3 record into its final non-conference weekend of the season as the Colonels face Cincinnati and Ball State in Muncie, Indiana.

EKU's match with Cincinnati is set for 3 p.m. on Friday. The match against the host Cardinals is Saturday at 4 p.m. and will air live on ESPN+.

THE COLONELS
- The Colonels went 2-1 last weekend and won the Geri Polvino Invitational in Richmond. EKU beat Texas-Rio Grande Valley and Northern Kentucky.

AG Hynes was chosen as the GPI MVP after averaging 3.0 kills and 0.67 blocks per set and hitting .423 across three matches.

Cassidy Trahan averaged 4.71 digs per set while helping EKU go 3-1 last week. She led the ASUN in digs per set last week (by .21 digs/set). For the season, Trahan is now second in the ASUN with 4.10 digs per set.

-Â EKU is fifth in the nation in total assists (522), seventh in total kills (538) and 11th in total digs (616).

Carson Ledford were chosen to the GPI All-Tournament Team. Ledford contributed 1.83 kills and 0.92 blocks while hitting .409.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Cincinnati is 6-2 this season. The Bearcats' two losses were to Big Ten teams Michigan and Illinois. UC has a 3-0 victory over Xavier while EKU fell to the Musketeers 3-1. Â

- Sydney Nolan leads the team with 4.69 kills per set, which ranks 15th in the nation. Carly Glendinning is contributing 3.83 kills per set. The duo of Brooke Crummel and Tatjana Simeunovic are averaging 1.21 and 1.10 blocks per set respectively.Â

- Ball State sits at 4-5 this season. Cincinnati and BSU will play each other on Thursday.
