- EKU stands at 4-2, after winning two of its three matches at the Xavier Tournament. The two teams the Colonels have lost to this season – Appalachian State and Xavier – are a combined 12-0.

Emilee Hill had two triple-doubles in three matches at the Xavier Tournament. The junior setter averaged 3.27 kills, 3.73 digs, 5.27 assists, 0.36 blocks and 0.18 aces per set.

Carson Ledford were selected to the Xavier Tournament All-Tournament Team. Ledford averaged 2.09 kills with a .429 attack percentage and 1.0 blocks per set.

Cassidy Trahan averaged 4.45 digs per set at the Xavier Tournament. That was the second-most digs by an ASUN player last week.

SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
- Marshall is also 4-2 this season. The Thundering Herd have wins over Kansas City, Eastern Michigan, Radford and Southern Indiana. The two loses were to Florida Atlantic and Michigan. Â

- The Thundering Herd have a balanced offensive attack with four players averaging between 2.05 and 2.48 kills per set. Emma Barnett, a freshman outside hitter from Louisville, leads the team with 2.48 kills per set.Â

- Senior middle blocker Beatrice Ciccarelli leads Marshall with 1.24 blocks per set. She also contributes 2.10 kills per set.
