RICHMOND, Ky. - Eastern Kentucky University's
Jaheim Ward will be traveling to Texas for the 14
th annual Dream Bowl College Football All-Star Game.

The Dream Bowl is set to take place on Sunday, January 11, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, streaming on ESPN+.

The Dream Bowl brings together standout college seniors from across the country, offering them a unique opportunity to display their talents in front of NFL, CFL, and UFL scouts.

Since its inception, the Dream Bowl has helped over 200 participants earn NFL camp invitations, with many more advancing to professional football careers

Ward accepts the invitation after a stellar two seasons at EKU, including being named an All-American and First Team All-UAC selection in 2025.
Â
In his two seasons in Richmond, Ward accumulated 148 total tackles with a team-leading 82 in 2025, seven tackles for loss, 17 passes defended, two interceptions, three forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery.

His All-American selection marked the second consecutive season a Colonel defensive back has been named an All-American under the tutelage of secondary coach
Rashad Watson, joining Mike Smith Jr. from the 2024 season.

Ward led Watson's defensive backfield in 2025, which produced 10 interceptions with a defensive passing efficiency of 123.33, the 23rd best in FCS football this season.

The Moultrie, Georgia native will also make it two consecutive seasons that the Colonels will be represented at the Dream Bowl, following offensive lineman Vincent Munlin Jr. and long snapper Jonathan Duff, who participated in last season's event.
