Colonels Have Two ASUN Road Games This Week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A pair of Atlantic Sun Conference road games await Eastern Kentucky University this week.  The Colonels will play at Lipscomb on Wednesday before taking on North Alabama on Sunday.
 
Wednesday's game will begin at 8 p.m. ET and air live on ESPN+.  Sunday's contest at UNA is scheduled for 4 p.m. ET and will air live on ESPNU.  The live audio broadcast of the game is available worldwide on EKUSports.com and the EKUSports app.
 
THE COLONELS
-  EKU (9-16, 5-7 ASUN) has won two straight, beating Florida Gulf Coast (76-74) and Stetson (100-88).
 
-  Sophomore Juan Cranford Jr. (23) and freshman MJ Wiliams (22) both set new career-highs for scoring against Stetson.  Montavious Myrick tied his career-best with 19 points.
 
-  In his last four games, Williams is averaging 7.0 assists.  During that span he has 28 assists and only seven turnovers.
 
-  Over his last four games, Myrick has hit 73% of his shots from the field, going 19-for-26.  In his last two games, he is 13-for-16 (81%) from the field.
 
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTS
-  Lipscomb is 15-10 overall and 8-4 in conference games.  The Bisons have lost three of their last four, including two straight to Austin Peay (87-76) and Central Arkansas (86-78).  
 
- Grant Asman, a 6-foot-11 forward, leads Lipscomb in scoring (14.6 ppg) and rebounding (6.2 rpg).  He is shooting 53% from the field and 40% from 3-point range.  As a team, the Bisons are third in the ASUN in scoring (81.4 ppg) and fourth in scoring defense (76.6 ppg).
 
-  North Alabama sits at 7-16 overall and 2-10 in league games.  The Lions have lost three straight and seven of their last eight.  UNA hosts West Georgia on Wednesday.
 
-  Donte Bacchus leads the team in scoring at 14.6 points per game.  He is shooting 50% from the field on the season.  Corneilous Williams leads the team in rebounding (9.3 rpg) and is third in scoring at 12.2 points per game.  The Lions are last in the ASUN in scoring offense at 69.7 points per game.
 
INSIDE THE SERIES
-  EKU is 4-3 all-time against Lipscomb and has won two in a row in the series.  The Colonels are 1-3 in games played in Nashville.  In the most recent meeting, EKU won 66-57 on Feb. 18, 2025 in Richmond.
 
-  The Colonels are 5-3 all-time against North Alabama, including an 88-80 victory on Jan. 8 in Richmond.  EKU is 1-2 in games played in Florence.
