RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University will host Atlantic Sun Conference foes Florida Gulf Coast on Thursday and Stetson on Saturday at Baptist Health Arena.

Thursday will be Colonel Mania night, bringing the energy of the ring to the court while celebrating the wild world of wrestling. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Colonel Mania EKU Belt t-shirt. Saturday will be Youth Sports Day at Baptist Health Arena. All youth sports teams are invited to the game and there will be a postgame autograph session following the game.

Konieczny, a 6-foot-7 forward who played the last three seasons at Notre Dame, leads the team in scoring (15.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.4 rpg). He has shot 46% from the field this season. As a team the Eagles average 79 points and allow 78 per game. FGCU has out rebounded its opponents by 3.0 per game and has committed 0.3 fewer turnovers per contest.
