NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Eastern Kentucky University men's tennis team suffered a 4-0 loss against the No. 13-ranked Vanderbilt Commodores on Sunday night at the Lummis Family Tennis Center.
With the loss, EKU falls to 9-13 on the season and 3-10 in true road matches.
Vanderbilt (14-7, 4-5 SEC) won the doubles point decisively on flights one and two, including the No. 29-ranked pair of Nathan Cox and Hoyoung Roh taking down EKU's
Nuno Pinheiro and
Marek Nano, 6-2.
In singles, the Commodores won in straight sets on courts one, three, and six to clinch the match 4-0.
EKU returns to action on March 27 on the road against Saint Louis. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET.
