Â
Lasu played his first two seasons of collegiate basketball at Long Island University. He helped the Sharks to a 24-11 record and Northeast Conference regular season and tournament titles this past season. LIU faced No. 1 seed Arizona in the NCAA Tournament.Â
Â

"Shadrak is our kind of player," said EKU Head Coach
A.W. Hamilton. Â "He's a 2-year starter, he's been to the NCAA Tournament, and he brings toughness and physicality every time he steps on the floor. Â His versatility, both offensively and defensively, fit us perfectly. Â He hasn't even scratched the surface on how good he's going to be."
Â
The Winnipeg, Canada native scored a season-best 13 points and grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds against Wagner in the semifinals of the NEC Tournament. He blocked six shots in a game against Stonehill.
