RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University fell to Western Kentucky, 13-0, in a midweek baseball game at Earle Combs Stadium on Tuesday.

After grabbing a 2-0 lead in the first, the Hilltoppers (21-20) stretched it to 5-0 in the third. Camden Ross hit a 2-run home run, and Kyle Hayes drove in a runner with a double to right center. A 2-run home run from Hayden Robbins in the fourth stretched the visitors' lead to 7-0.

An RBI single by Lane Arroyos with one out in the seventh made it 10-0 and put the run-rule into effect. WKU added three more in the inning.

Four different players had one hit each for the Colonels (10-31).

Arroyos had a 4-for-5 game with two runs and two RBIs. Robbins finished 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBIs. Western Kentucky starter Dominic Monaco pitched four innings of shutout baseball. He allowed three hits, walked three and struck out six.
