Box Score (pdf)

RICHMOND, Ky. –
Eastern Kentucky University fell to Western Kentucky, 13-0, in a midweek baseball game at Earle Combs Stadium on Tuesday.

After grabbing a 2-0 lead in the first, the Hilltoppers (21-20) stretched it to 5-0 in the third.  Camden Ross hit a 2-run home run, and Kyle Hayes drove in a runner with a double to right center.  A 2-run home run from Hayden Robbins in the fourth stretched the visitors' lead to 7-0.

An RBI single by Lane Arroyos with one out in the seventh made it 10-0 and put the run-rule into effect.  WKU added three more in the inning.

Four different players had one hit each for the Colonels (10-31).

Arroyos had a 4-for-5 game with two runs and two RBIs.  Robbins finished 2-for-3 with three runs and three RBIs.  Western Kentucky starter Dominic Monaco pitched four innings of shutout baseball.  He allowed three hits, walked three and struck out six.

EKU will host North Alabama this weekend for a 3-game series starting Friday at 6 p.m. ET.
