RICHMOND, Ky. – Eastern Kentucky University's 2026 volleyball schedule includes four opponents who played in last season's NCAA Tournament, the program announced today with the release of its entire slate.

EKU tied for second in the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2025 and advanced to the ASUN Tournament championship match.  The Colonels have won 20 or more matches in three straight seasons, the first time the program has accomplished that since 2003-05.

Season tickets are on sale now for $60 and can be purchased at the link above. All home matches will be played at Baptist Health Arena.

The Colonels play two exhibition matches before officially starting the season. EKU will play at Tennessee on August 13 and host Morehead State on August 22 for Fan Day.

The season will begin on August 28-29 when the Colonels travel to Lexington to face a pair of NCAA Tournament teams at the Bluegrass Battle. EKU will take on South Florida on the 28th and Utah State on the 29th. The Aggies advanced to the second round of the national tournament in 2025.

EKU will play Radford, Prairie View A&M and Georgia Southern at the GATA Challenge on Sept. 4-6 in Statesboro, Georgia. The team will take on James Madison, Pepperdine and Western Kentucky at the Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic in Bowling Green Sept. 10-12. WKU was an NCAA Tournament team a year ago.

The first home match of the 2026 season will come against regional rival Marshall at 6 p.m. on Sept. 15 at Baptist Health Arena. The Colonels will then host the annual Geri Polvino Invitational (GPI) on Sept. 18-19. Tennessee Tech and Appalachian State will kick it off at 10 a.m. on Sept. 18. EKU will face Presbyterian at 1 p.m. Appalachian State and Presbyterian will play at 4 p.m. before the day concludes with the Colonels and TTU at 7 p.m. On Sept. 19, Presbyterian and Tennessee Tech will play at 11 a.m. EKU and Appalachian State will wrap up the event with a match at 2 p.m.

The Colonels' first season in the United Athletic Conference (UAC) will begin with a road trip to Arkansas to take on Central Arkansas on Sept. 24 and Little Rock on Sept. 26. The first UAC home match is scheduled for Oct. 1 against Tarleton at 6 p.m.

League play continues at Texas-Arlington on Oct. 3 before hosting Austin Peay and North Alabama on Oct. 6 and Oct. 10 respectively.

EKU will play at West Georgia on Oct. 15. Four straight UAC home matches are set for Oct. 17 against Abilene Christian, Oct. 22 versus Little Rock, Oct. 23 against Central Arkansas and Oct. 29 versus Texas-Arlington.

Only one of the final five matches of the season will be at home. After playing at North Alabama on Oct. 31 and at Austin Peay on Nov. 3, the Colonels will host West Georgia on Nov. 5. The regular season is set to conclude on Nov. 12 at Tarleton and Nov. 14 at Abilene Christian.

The UAC Tournament is scheduled for Nov. 19-21 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
