Biography

AS A SENIOR IN 2010
Only played in five games because of an injury … batted .333 in 15 at bats … was 2-for-4 against DePaul University … batted 2-for-3 against Tennessee Martin (March 20).

AS A JUNIOR IN 2008
Earned first team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors for the second straight year … became a three-time All-OVC honoree … led the team and finished sixth in the conference with a .349 batting average … had the second highest on-base percentage (.471) in the OVC … was hit by a pitch nine times, which was the highest in the conference … drew 19 walks … batted .466 with a .584 on-base percentage, 10 runs and 18 RBIs against OVC competition … her on-base percentage for the season was the 77th best in the nation … led the Colonels with a .560 slugging percentage, 29 RBIs, six home runs and 61 total bases … got off to a slow start, hitting just .217 with two runs scored and one RBI in EKU’s first nine games … batted .384 with 13 runs and 28 RBIs in the team’s final 35 games … hit her first home run of the season and drove in three runs against South Dakota (March 7) … went 2-for-2 with two runs and four RBIs against Pennsylvania (March 8) … homered, scored twice and drove in three runs against Austin Peay (April 4) … finished 2-for-3 with a run and three RBIs at Tennessee State (April 18) … hit a game-winning two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh of a 4-2 win over Tennessee-Martin (May 3), finishing the season-finale 3-for-4 … 2008-09 Colonel Scholar.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2008
Earned first team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors … ranked second in the OVC in RBIs (48), third in hitting (.393), third in walks (28) and fourth in on-base percentage (.531) … 13th highest on-base percentage in the nation … ranked 21st in the NCAA with an average of 0.98 RBIs per game … led the team in eight offensive categories … was hit by a pitch 13 times, the most in the conference … hit nine home runs … had 14 multi-hit games and 15 multi-RBI games … hit safely in 11 straight games at one point during the season … hit a grand slam in the third inning against Akron (Feb. 22) … went 3-for-3 with three RBIs the next day against Ball State … went 3-for-3 in her first game in her home state, against her home-state school, No. 15 Hawai`i … had three hits against Tennessee State (March 21) … went 1-for-1 and walked three times against Samford (March 29) … was 4-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI against regular season conference champion Jacksonville State (April 6) … hit her second grand slam of the season against Tennessee-Martin (April 12), finishing the game with six RBIs … had three hits against Samford in the OVC tournament … hit one home run in each of EKU’s final three games of the season, including two OVC tournament games.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2007
Earned second team All-OVC honors and was selected to the OVC All-Newcomer team as a freshman ... led the team in eight offensive categories, including hitting (.371), hits (65), RBIs (43), doubles (13), home runs (eight) and total bases (102) ... led the team with 18 multiple hit games and 12 multiple RBI games ... third best batting average in the OVC ... ranked seventh in the OVC in hits and RBIs ... went 2-for-3 with two runs and four RBIs in her second collegiate game, against Charlotte (Feb. 17) ... was a perfect 4-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI against Bucknell (Feb. 18) ... hit her first collegiate home run against Bowling Green (Feb. 23) ... went 3-for-3 against Southeast Missouri (March 31) ... was 4-for-4 with five RBIs against Wright State (April 4).

HIGH SCHOOL
Played four years of varsity softball … named the 2006 all-state and all-league first team first baseman … honored to the 2005 all-state second team and all-league first team … helped team to state championship in 2003 … posted a career batting average of .400 … hit 12 home runs during high school career ... also played one year of volleyball.
