AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008
Made an immediate impact as a freshman, earning a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference All-Newcomer team … batted .333, 10th best in the OVC … scored 31 runs scored and drove in 24 … started all 50 games, serving as the designated player 42 times … finished second on the team in average and third in runs scored … had 11 doubles, second most on the team … led the team with 16 multi-hit games … led the team with 10 sacrifice bunts … went 2-for-2 with two walks in her collegiate debut, against Southern Mississippi on February 15 … went 3-for-4 with two runs scored and an RBI against Idaho State on March 8 … went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles against Southeast Missouri on March 16 … on April 1 against Miami (Ohio), Lenz stepped to the plate with the bases loaded in the bottom of the first inning and hit the first pitch she saw over the left field fence for her first collegiate home run and first grand slam, she finished the game 2-for-3 with a run scored and five RBIs … went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI against Tennessee-Martin on April 12.

Attended Mater Dei High School ... batted .300 with three home runs ... two-time first team all-league selection ... three appearances in ASA Nationals ... earned four varsity letters.
