AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009
Pitched in 18 games and started in the circle 13 times before an injury ended her freshman season in April … made her first collegiate start against Furman (Feb. 13) and struck out four batters … earned her first collegiate win against Pennsylvania (March 8) after allowing two runs and striking out five batters in five innings … struck out a season-high six batters and allowed only one earned run in seven innings against Kent State (March 25) … finished the season with 47 strikeouts in 59 innings of work … pitched three complete games … earned the save against Kent State (March 25).

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a three-time first team all-state selection at Ballard High School … in addition to her success on the field, Mockbee is a four-year academic all-state selection … was a three-time all-region selection and was selected as the team MVP in each of the past two seasons … a four-year starter for a program that doesn’t typically start freshmen … led the Bruins to four straight district titles and regional championships in 2005 and 2008 … totaled 679 strikeouts over four seasons, including 220 her senior season … posted a 0.89 ERA her sophomore season, a 0.76 ERA her junior season and a 0.56 ERA her senior season … batted .425 as a sophomore, .454 as a junior and .465 as a senior … also a four-year member of the varsity volleyball team … earned best offensive player award in 2005 and 2006 and most outstanding player award in 2007.
