2006 (FRESHMAN): Named to the OVC All-Freshman team...Hit .342 (27-of-79) in 28 games, starting 19 of them...Scored 17 runs...Had first career hit in victory over Oakland on February 28...Hit in nine straight games from March 7 to March 22...Went 2-for-2 with first career home run in a victory over Tennessee Tech on April 1...Season-high three hits in victory over Eastern Illinois on May 14.
HIGH SCHOOL: Carried a .467 batting average with 135 runs scored, 27 doubles, three triples and 60 RBI…Also converted 91-of-93 stolen base attempts while striking out only 27 times in 344 plate appearances in his high school career…Minooka went 63-9 in his junior and senior seasons…In 2005, he was named Suburban Prairie Conference MVP, Chicago Tribune first team all-state, Chicago Sun Times first team all-state, IHSBCA first team all-state, Prep Baseball Report first team all-state.
