2010 Scouting Report – A dominating force on the interior of the line … constantly works to reach the opposition’s backfield … striving to earn All-OVC honors for a second straight season.
At EKU –
2009: Started all 11 games on the defensive line … led the team and ranked fifth in the OVC with 9.5 tackles for loss … blocked a field goal or extra point attempt in five straight games … his five blocks were the most by any player in the OVC … led EKU with seven stops and a sack in the season opener at Indiana … finished with three tackles for loss in the win at Murray State on Sept. 26 … had a career game with eight tackles, a sack, a forced fumble and a blocked PAT against UT Martin on Oct. 17 … notched six tackles, two quarterback hurries, a blocked PAT and a fumble recovery in the win over Southeast Missouri on Oct. 31.
2008: Played in all 12 games including eight starts at defensive tackle … finished third on the team with 9.5 tackles for loss … notched three tackles for loss in the NCAA playoff game at Richmond on Nov. 29 … tallied a fumble recovery and interception deep in Tennessee Tech territory on Oct. 4 which led to 10 EKU points … recorded five stops and a sack at Southeast Missouri on Nov. 1 … totaled six tackles and a quarterback hurry in the win over Jacksonville State on Oct. 11.
2007: Made an appearance in all 12 games … registered a tackle in seven contests … posted a season-high three stops against Tennessee State (Oct. 20) … tallied a tackle for loss and quarterback hurry at Murray State on Oct. 27 … chipped in with two stops in the playoff contest at Richmond.
2006: Took a redshirt season.
High School – Posted 58 tackles and six blocked kicks during his senior year … also recorded a school-record 16 sacks … all-county and all-region selection … named county’s Defensive Lineman of the Year … team captain … helped Woodstock to the state playoffs for the first time in school history … a member of the all-county academic team.
