Biography

AS A JUNIOR IN 2010
Made 32 appearances in the circle … started 16 games … pitched eight complete games … went 6-8 with a team-low 2.82 ERA ... had the ninth lowest ERA in the Ohio Valley Conference … struck out 68 batters in 121 and two-thirds innings of work … allowed 49 earned runs … did not allow an earned run in seven of her first 14 appearances of the season … picked up first win of the season against Southeast Missouri (March 27), striking out three and giving up one earned run in five and one-third innings … hurled a complete game shutout against Morehead State (March 30), striking out five batters … struck out a season-high seven batters and did not allow an earned run in a complete game victory over Tennessee State (April 2).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2009
Made 34 appearances in the circle … started 16 games … tossed three complete games … went 4-10 … struck out 41 batters and issued 62 walks in 83 and two-thirds innings of work … allowed 55 earned runs and posted a 4.60 ERA … had the fourth most appearances in the Ohio Valley Conference … tied for the most relief appearances in the conference … allowed just one un-earned run over seven innings in a 4-1 win over Missouri-Kansas City (Feb. 14) … struck out four and gave up one un-earned run over seven innings of a 7-1 win against South Dakota (March 7) … 2008-09 Colonel Scholar.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2008
Made an immediate impact in the circle for the Colonels … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference All-Newcomer team after leading EKU with 11 wins and a 3.13 ERA … had the 12th best ERA in the OVC … made a team-high 32 appearances and started 26 games … had seven complete games, including two complete game shutouts … had two saves … led the team with 123 innings pitched … allowed 121 hits and 55 earned runs … struck out 82 batters while issuing only 56 walks … opponents hit .257 against the freshman … earned her first collegiate victory in her third game, tossing five innings of two-hit ball and allowing one run in an 11-1 win over Akron (Feb. 22) … allowed only one run on three hits in six innings against No. 15 Hawai`i (March 9) … allowed one run on four hits and struck out five in a complete game win over Tennessee State (March 21) … struck out a season-high seven batters and allowed only one run on two hits while pitching six innings against Morehead State (March 25) … earned her first complete game shutout against Tennessee-Martin (April 13) … tossed another complete game shutout against Eastern Illinois (May 3), tying a season-high with seven strikeouts.

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned first team all-city, all-league and all-conference honors ... team MVP ... team Most Valuable Defensive Player award ... set school records for ERA (0.51) and most innings pitched in one game (17) ... had a career batting average of .339 ... on the mound she went 28-11 with 419 strikeouts in 273 innings ... earned three softball letters ... also a member of the Loveland High School volleyball team.
