AS A JUNIOR IN 2011
Became EKU’s regular first baseman … played in 48 games and started 44 times … made 42 starts at first base … batted .283 with eight home runs, 35 RBIs and 25 runs scored … posted a .529 slugging percentage, third best on the team … seven stolen bases in eight attempts … went 4-for-4 with two home runs, three runs scored and four RBIs against Pennsylvania … was 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and four driven in at Morehead State … 2010-11 Colonel Scholar.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2010
Played and started in the first 19 games of the season at second base … did not play rest of season due to an injury … hit .122 in 49 at bats … scored four runs, had four RBIs and had two steals … tallied a hit and an RBI against UMBC (Feb 20) … hit a home run and went 1-for-3 with one run scored and two RBIs against the University of Evansville (March 6) … 2009-10 Bratzke Award of Excellence (given to the team member with the highest GPA) … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2009-10 Colonel Scholar.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2009
Played in 31 games and started 28 times … started 25 times at shortstop … batted .231 with 10 runs scored and four RBIs … was successful in four out of five stolen base attempts … walked nine times and posted a .324 on-base percentage … recorded her first collegiate hit against Missouri-Kansas City (Feb. 14) … had two hits four times … went 2-for-3 with a run and two RBIs against Sacred Heart (March 8) … went 2-for-3 and scored three times against Kent State (March 25) … drew a pair of walks and had a stolen base in her second game of the season, against Auburn (Feb. 13) … 2008-09 Colonel Scholar.

HIGH SCHOOL
Two-time all-state selection … four-time all-district and all-region … ended her career ranked second in state history with 72 doubles, eighth in the state with 19 career home runs and ninth with 171 career RBIs … as a senior at Scott County High School, Wood batted .450 with eight home runs, 17 doubles and 21 stolen bases on her way to earning 11th Region Player of the Year honors … as a junior, Wood batted .455 with 21 doubles, six home runs, 45 RBIs and 45 runs … was named to the Kentucky State All-Tournament Team as a junior while helping the Cardinals reach the final four … Scott County finished with a 37-8 record in 2007 … was chosen as an East/West All-Star in 2007 and 2008 … she played high school softball for six years.
