Neubauer on Cruz:

Sophomore (2010-11):
Played in 28 games while starting five contests … finished third on the squad in field goal percentage (48.5) and total rebounds (93) … led all players with a personal-high 20 points in the win over Cincinnati Christian on Nov. 23 … made all nine field goal attempts against the Crusaders … equaled a personal best with a team-high seven rebounds in the overtime win over Indiana State on Nov. 14 … led EKU in rebounding in five other games … recorded 18 points and five boards against SIUE on Nov. 17 … made at least two free throws in 11 consecutive games to start the season … missed three games in February due to a concussion.

Freshman (2009-10):
Played in 33 games and started six … scored his first collegiate point against UC Irvine on Nov. 24 … tallied a season-high four assists in the win over Farleigh Dickenson on Nov. 23 … netted a season-high 19 points while hitting 8-for-8 from the floor in his first collegiate start on Jan. 9 at Tennessee Tech … recorded a season-best seven rebounds against Southeast Missouri on Feb. 11.

High School:
Played at L’Anse Creuse High which is located just outside of Detroit, Mich. … averaged 20 points, nine rebounds and four assists per game as a senior … earned all-conference, all-metro and honorable mention all-state accolades.
