Biography

2010 (Junior): Batted .292 on the season while playing a variety of positions … started 16 games in the outfield (playing either corner position) and two as a designated hitter … did not commit an error all season … also appeared in 10 games as a pinch hitter … second on the team with a .448 on-base percentage …became increasingly important to the team as the season progressed and batted .333 with a double, five runs scored and three RBI in limited action against OVC opponents … went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and run scored against UT Martin (April 25) … followed that up by going 3-for-5 with an RBI the very next weekend at Murray State …played his best ball in the OVC Tournament as he drove in the game-winning run against Murray State with a two-out sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth (May 26) … went 1-for-1 with two walks and a stolen base against Tennessee Tech (May 27) and 3-for-4 with an RBI against Murray State (May 28).

2009 (Sophomore):
Was eighth in the NJCAA Region 24 with a .406 batting average ... tallied 69 hits on the season ... second in the region with 23 stolen bases.

2008 (Freshman):
Played at Olney Central College in Richland, Ill ... batted .435 (.563 with runners in scoring position), drove in 33 runs, stole 14 bases and scored 34 runs ... also compiled a .575 slugging percentage on his way to being named GRAC All Conference and GRAC Freshman of the Year.

High School Accomplishments:
As a senior at Castle High School in Newburgh, Ind., he hit .455 and led the state with 52 runs scored ... he was named all-conference, all-metro and his team’s MVP.

Personal: Born Sept. 26, 1988 ... son of Dan and Vicki Labhart ... majoring in arts and sciences.
