2011 Scouting Report – Was the team’s number one running back last year before a knee injury in October ended his season … hopes to return to practice in the preseason.

At EKU – 2010: Started the first five games of the season before suffering a knee injury on Oct. 9 against Eastern Illinois … posted a season-best 15 carries against EIU … rattled off a 62-yard touchdown run versus Kentucky State on Oct. 2, marking EKU’s second longest play from scrimmage in 2010 … caught a one-yard touchdown pass at Louisville on Sept. 11. 2009: Did not play.

At Air Force – 2008: Played in all 13 games with five starts … finished third on the team in rushing with 452 yards … caught an eight-yard touchdown pass against Utah on Sept. 20 … posted a four-yard touchdown run against Colorado State on Nov. 8.

High School – Played three years of varsity football at Colerain High … earned first team all-league honors … also participated in basketball and track.

Personal – Son of David and Sherri Lumpkin … born on Dec. 28, 1987 … earned his bachelor’s degree in general studies this past May.
