2011 Scouting Report – Great football instincts and work ethic … slated to start at safety for a third consecutive year … will compete for all-league honors for a second straight season.

At EKU – 2010: Played in all 11 games with 10 starts at strong safety … led Eastern with 68 total tackles … also tied for the team lead with five pass break-ups … recorded at least four tackles in every contest … broke up three passes and tallied his lone interception against Eastern Illinois on Oct. 9 … finished with a game-high nine stops at Southeast Missouri on Oct. 23 … notched a career-high 12 tackles to go along with a pass-break in the win over Murray State on Oct. 30. 2009: Started all 11 games at safety … finished second on the team in tackles (64) and interceptions (three) … led the squad with two fumble recoveries … was involved in three of the five turnovers caused by the Colonel defense against UT Martin on Oct. 17 … tallied his first two collegiate interceptions and also came away with a critical fumble recovery late in the fourth quarter against UTM which led to an EKU touchdown … named FCS National Defensive Player of the Week by The Sports Network as well as OVC Defensive Player of the Week following the 31-25 win over UT Martin … recorded seven stops, an interception in the end zone and a forced fumble in the win over Southeast Missouri on Oct. 31 … notched a game-high 10 tackles against Western Carolina on Nov. 14. 2008: Injured his knee in the season opener at Cincinnati on Aug. 28 and missed the rest of the season. 2007: Took a redshirt season.

High School – Finished prep career with 137 tackles and four interceptions … received all-city and all-conference (GCL) accolades.
