2011 Scouting Report – The lone returning starting linebacker … an excellent pass rusher … expected to be a difference maker as a senior.
At EKU –
2010: Made the move from inside to strong side linebacker … started 10 of 11 games … tied for second on the squad with 9.5 tackles for loss … finished with personal highs in tackles (nine) and sacks (2.5) to go along with a forced fumble in the win over No. 2 Jacksonville State … the forced fumble against JSU was returned for a touchdown by Robert Knowles … earned OVC Defensive Player of the Week honors for his efforts against the Gamecocks … returned a second quarter interception 76 yards for a score against Kentucky State (Oct. 2) … notched five tackles, including two tackles for loss, and a pass break-up in the win at Tennessee Tech on Nov. 13.
2009: Made an appearance in eight of 11 games as a reserve linebacker … tallied at least one tackle in every game played … totaled five stops on Sept. 26 at Murray State … notched two solo tackles in the home finale against Western Carolina on Nov. 14.
At Toledo –
2008: Saw action in six games … recorded a stop in five contests including two tackles against Akron, Northern Illinois and Eastern Michigan.
2007: Took a redshirt season.
High School – Conference Defensive Player of the Year at Trotwood-Madison High … earned all-area and second team All-Southwest District honors after totaling 120 tackles, four sacks, four forced fumbles, three interceptions and six touchdowns as a senior … as a junior, finished with 99 stops, three sacks and two interceptions.
