AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2012
Appeared in 12 games and made three starts … posted an 0-3 record with a 5.81 ERA … struck out 14 batters over 26 and one-third innings … allowed 14 walks … did not allow an earned run in six of his nine relief appearances … spent the summer of 2012 with the Southern Ohio Copperheads in the Great Lakes League … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2011-12 Colonel Scholar.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
Made nine appearances and two starts on the season … made his first career start at Marshall on April 19 and pitched well, holding the Thundering Herd scoreless over three innings while allowing just three hits and striking out two … earned his first career win in the Colonels’ home finale against Dayton on May 17, coming on in relief in the top of the third and pitching three and two-thirds innings while surrendering just one earned run on three hits and striking out two.

HIGH SCHOOL
A three-year starter at pitcher and center field at Boyle County High School … recorded a stellar 11-1 record on the mound as a senior and earned wins over state runner-up Butler and district rival (and No. 20 in the state at the time) Danville … fanned 14 batters in a game against Lincoln County his senior year and hurled a no-hitter against Lincoln County his junior year … defeated the No. 10 team in the state, West Jessamine, his junior year, going four innings and striking out eight … batted .311 with 11 home runs, 38 RBIs and 17 stolen bases his senior year … made only three errors in center field his entire career … was an Advocate Messenger All-Area selection his junior and senior years … named to the Kentucky East-West All Star Team … played for the Morse Mustangs in the summer of 2010 and went 6-2 with six saves.
