AT UNIVERSITY OF KENTUCKY
Appeared in five games as a freshman at Kentucky ... had a breakout summer in 2010 with the Amsterdam Mohawks of the New York Collegiate Baseball League ... led the team and ranked third in the NYCBL with a 0.71 ERA, pitching in 16 games with one start, totaling a 3-0 record ... worked 25.1 innings, allowing only 11 hits and two earned runs, walking 14 and striking out 25 ... allowed opponents to hit only .128.

HIGH SCHOOL
Named first team all-state and all-12th region as a senior in 2008 … also named one of the top 50 players in Kentucky and the Jessamine County Male Athlete of the Year in 2008 … attended a Perfect Game Showcase in 2008 and was tabbed one of the top 400 players in the nation … earned second team all-state honors as a junior in 2007.
