AS A JUNIOR IN 2013
First team All-Ohio Valley Conference selection … added to the Johnny Bench Award watch list (May 8) … one of 76 catchers from across the nation on the initial list …  named semi-finalist for Gregg Olson Award (May 28), fore breakout player of the year ... started 42 games behind the plate … recorded team-high .353 batting average … led team with 72 hits and drove in 41 runs … tallied four home runs … totaled 222 plate appearances … led team with 24 multiple hit games … posted 10 multiple RBI games … recorded an 11-game hitting streak … reached base in 15 consecutive games … went 5-7 with seven RBIs in win against Tennessee-Martin (April 12) … hit .371 with runners and scoring position and .362 with two outs … finished sixth in OVC in hitting (.353) … hit game-winning, two out single in ninth inning against Austin Peay (April 26) … played for the Aldie Senators in the Valley Baseball League during the summer of 2013 … 2012-13 Colonel Scholar.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2012
Started 43 games behind the plate … played in 52 games … finished with a .252 batting average, 25 runs scored and 19 RBIs … went 3-for-4 with a run and an RBI at East Tennessee (Feb. 18) … was 3-for-5 with three runs scored at Wofford (March 11) … finished 2-for-3 with two runs and a season-high three RBIs at Tennessee-Martin (May 5) … played for the Haymarket Senators of the Valley Baseball League during the summer of 2012 … had 17 runs and 16 RBIs in 36 games … 2011-12 Colonel Scholar.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2011
Started 34 games behind the plate for the Colonels during his rookie season… was severely hindered by a thumb injury for most of the season … because of this, finished the year with a .211 batting average, three doubles, nine RBI and 18 runs scored …showed good speed for a catcher by swiping 5-of-6 bases … hit safely in six of his first seven games as a Colonel, including going 2-for-6 with an RBI and a run scored in game two of EKU’s season-opening series at Pepperdine and 2-for-5 with two runs scored in a home win over Penn State on February 27 … batted 2-for-4 with a double, RBI and run scored in a conference game against Austin Peay on April 10 … batted .271 with six doubles and a home run while winning the Valley Baseball League Championship with the Covington Lumberjacks in the summer of 2011 … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
A four year starter behind the plate, he hit .396 with nine stolen bases, 20 walks, a .597 slugging percentage and a .655 on-base percentage as a senior at Muhlenberg High … hit .469 with six home runs, 11 doubles and 29 RBI as a junior … a two-time Under Armour Preseason All-American … named all-division as a sophomore and all-county as a junior … was invited to attend the prestigious East Coast Pro Baseball Showcase in Lakeland, Fla. in 2009.
