AS A JUNIOR IN 2012
All-Ohio Valley Conference second team selection … appeared in and started 13 games … second on the team with six wins … finished the season with a 6-4 record and a 3.14 ERA … struck out 38 batters in 77 and one third innings of work … walked only 26 … opponents hit .274 against Grimm … had the fifth best ERA in the OVC … struck out a season-high seven batters against SIU Edwardsville on March 31 … pitched eight superb innings as EKU clinched a share of the OVC Championship in the season finale at Murray State (May 19) … allowed one run on four hits while striking out three in the 7-1 victory.

AT WALTERS STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Compiled an impressive record of 18-2 during his two seasons at Walters State ... finished the spring of 2011 with a record of 11-2 and was named first team All-TCCAA ... had a breakout year in 2010 as he went 7-0 while tossing two complete games and posting a miniscule WHIP of 1.179 ... batters his just .234 against him during the 2010 season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Named honorable mention all-state his senior year at Paintsville High after posting a 0.70 ERA and striking out 82 batters in only 66 innings of work ... broke a state record with 18 strikeouts in one game ... was named to the Kentucky East/West All-Star Team ... also starred in basketball at Paintsville, leading the Tigers to the KHSAA Sweet 16 in 2008 while playing under legendary head coach Bill Mike Runyon.
