2009 Scouting Report – One of the best athletes on the squad … the coaching staff will utilize his abilities in many ways this fall … penciled in as a starting wide receiver, but could shift to quarterback to provide a spark to the offense.

At EKU – 2008: Made an appearance in all 12 games with eight starts … changed primary position from quarterback to wide receiver … led the team with five touchdown receptions … caught a 61-yard touchdown pass in the third quarter of the season opener at Cincinnati … finished with four catches for 76 yards and two scores at UT Martin on Nov. 22 … stepped in at quarterback in the second half at Tennessee Tech on Oct. 4 and directed three scoring drives … ran for 62 yards and threw for 86 yards and a score against the Golden Eagles … threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Shannon Davis on the first play from scrimmage against Austin Peay on Sept. 27. 2007: Played in nine games as a quarterback, kick returner and special teams contributor … helped spark the offense in the win at Jacksonville State with 50 yards rushing … picked up a 20-yard rush against Tennessee Tech in the season finale … completed his only pass attempt versus Tennessee State for eight yards … returned five kicks for 88 yards at Kentucky on Sept. 1. 2006: Took a redshirt season.

High School – Tennessee Football Coaches Association all-state selection … first team Class 3-4A all-region … first team Class 3-4A all-conference … named Player of the Week 10 times by four different organizations … Max Emfinger All-American Bowl selection … chose EKU over Tennessee Tech, Chattanooga and Marshall.
