Biography

The Book on Perry – Was having an outstanding spring until suffering a knee injury … can play both the strong and weakside linebacker positions … should come back from his injury in great shape. 

At EKU – 2007: Saw action in 11 of 12 games … utilized on special teams and as a back-up linebacker … equaled a personal best with three tackles against Western Carolina on Sept. 8 … notched a tackle and quarterback hurry in the win over Samford (Sept. 29). 2006: Played in the final six games of the season … chipped in with two tackles in the win over Murray State on Nov. 4 … added a stop at UT Martin a week later. 2005: Made an appearance in seven games … recorded a tackle in five contests … came away with a season-best three stops against Tennessee Tech … also notched a quarterback hurry versus TTU. 2004: Took a redshirt season. 

High School – Ran for 1,800 yards and 21 touchdowns as a prepster … carried 111 times for 951 yards as a senior … two-time all-district player … tallied 79 tackles, seven for loss, and forced five fumbles on the defensive side of the ball … helped lead Perry County to back-to-back playoff appearances for the first time in school history … chose EKU over Ohio and Western Kentucky.
