AS A JUNIOR IN 2012
Made 15 trips to the mound … had a 0-0 record with a 5.30 ERA … did not allow an earned run in 11 of his appearances and only allowed more than one earned run once … played for the Lexington Hustlers of the Great Lakes League during the summer of 2012 … made six appearances … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … Chi Alpha Sigma national honor society inductee … 2011-12 Bratzke Award for Excellence (given to the team member with the highest GPA) … 2011-12 Colonel Scholar.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2011
Finished the season with a record of 1-1 and a 4.86 ERA … made 14 appearances, all out of the bullpen … did not surrender a run in his first seven appearances of the season … earned a four-out save (his first career save) against Western Carolina (March 1) when he came on in the top of the eighth with two outs, two men on and the tying run on deck and shut down the Catamounts over the next one and one-third innings … picked up a key conference victory over Murray State (May 7) as he retired one batter in the top of the sixth to become the pitcher of record … pitched two scoreless innings of relief against Big East foe West Virginia (March 16), limiting the Mountaineers to just one hit … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2010
Used primarily as a midweek starter in his rookie season … finished the year with a record of 2-2 … started six games, pitched 25 innings and struck out 14 batters … picked up his first career win over Big 10 foe Purdue (March 16) … got the start against the Boilermakers and went four strong innings, allowing just two runs on three hits while striking out three batters as the Colonels won, 5-2 … earned his second win of the season against Marshall, going two innings and surrendering just one run on two hits with two strikeouts in a 10-6 EKU win (March 31) …pitched one scoreless inning in the OVC Tournament during the Colonels’ 7-4 loss to Tennessee Tech (May 27) … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four varsity letters at Anderson High School … an all-conference and all-city honoree … a member of National Honor Society and named a Top Scholar Athlete … Student Athletic Leadership Team all four years … OHSAA Courageous Student Award recipient ... Anthony Munoz Foundation Student of the Year finalist … played summer ball with Midland and recorded a career record of 11-2 with a 1.75 ERA along with being 10-for-10 in save opportunites … a member of 2007 Mickey Mantle World series championship squad and the 2009 CABA Wood Bat World Series Championship team … also played football and was a member of the 2007 state championship team and the 2008 state runner-up team.
