AS A JUNIOR IN 2015
Started all 50 games at shortstop … batted .236 with eight doubles, three home runs and 23 RBIs … led team in assists with 136 … went 6-for-7 on stolen bases … had eight multi-RBI games and 11 multi-hit games … went 3-for-4 with two runs, and two RBIs against Northern Kentucky (March 31) … went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBIs, one double and one home run against Tennessee Tech (May 15) … Chi Alpha Sigma (national student-athlete honor society) inductee … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2014-15 Colonel Scholar.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2014
Started 48 games for the Colonels … batted .217 with six doubles … had a .941 fielding percentage … had 27 RBIs … led the team for the second straight season in assists with 156 … went 4-for-4 with three RBIs against Morehead State (April 5) … went 2-for-3 against with a double and a home run against Eastern Illinois (May 3) … also had three RBIs against Southeast Missouri on March 14 … had 12 multi-hit games … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2013-14 Colonel Scholar.  
 
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2013
Named Louisville-Slugger Freshman All-American … chosen to the Ohio Valley Conference All-Freshman Team … started 45 games at second base in first season with the Colonels … hit .298 on the season with a .421 slugging percentage … recorded 15 doubles, two triples and one home run … went 5-for-5 and scored three runs in 14-6 win against Jacksonville State (May 12) … recorded 95 putouts … had team high 137 assists … led team in fielding double plays with 29 … hit .400 and scored five runs in OVC tournament … played for the Syracuse Junior Chiefs of the New York Collegiate Baseball League during the summer of 2013, batting .306 with one home run, 15 RBIs and 20 runs in 27 games … earned a spot on the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll … 2012-13 Colonel Scholar.

Full name is Kenneth John Hostrander … son of Mark and Cathy Hostrander … his father, Mark, played football and baseball and his mother, Cathy, played basketball and ran track … majoring in construction management.
