Player Profile – Saidi should among the top players again for the Colonels as a senior … has lots of competitive experience from playing in France … should compete for All-OVC honors this year.

2013-14 (Junior) – Finished the season playing at the No. 1 singles position … also played some matches at No. 2 and No. 3 singles … tied for the team lead with 11 singles dual victories … posted a 5-4 record against OVC foes in singles … concluded the indoor season with six straight wins … eight of his 18 losses came in three sets … tallied a five-match winning streak in doubles in the middle of the spring.

2012-13 (Sophomore) – Stepped into the No. 1 singles position in his first year on the squad … went 5-4 against OVC foes in singles … picked up a three-set win versus Wright State on Feb. 8 to seal the team victory … also recorded three-set wins against Belmont and Tennessee State.

Off the Court – Earned his bachelor’s degree in health sciences this past December …  his hobbies include listening to music and playing any sport … he has his sights on OVC Player of the Year honors in his final season … after he finishes his playing career, he would like to be a conditioning coach for professional athletes.
