Biography

The Book on Sizemore – Expectations are high after a very successful 2007 campaign … his athleticism and size make him a very versatile tight end …a hard worker who is detailed in his preparation. 

At EKU – 2007: Second team all-conference pick … played in all 12 games with five starts … finished fifth on the squad with 20 receptions … tallied multiple receptions in seven games … recorded four catches for 32 yards at Eastern Illinois on Oct. 6 … also notched four receptions against Tennessee Tech on Nov. 17. 2006: Played in six games with two starts … made the transition from quarterback to tight end … his first career reception came on EKU’s opening offensive play at Samford on Oct. 7 … also added a catch in the season finale versus Tennessee State. 2005: Made an appearance in three contests … completed all six passes he attempted … threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Kyle Barber in the fourth quarter against Tennessee Tech on Sept. 24 … went 4-for-4 for 44 yards passing at Murray State on Nov. 5. 2004: Took a redshirt season. 

High School – Threw for 7,299 yards in his prep career … ranked fifth in the state in passing yardage (3,367) as a senior … 2003 honorable mention all-state by the Louisville Courier-Journal … tossed 71 career touchdown passes and ran for 16 more … set single-game state records with 40 completions and six touchdowns in the first half in a 74-6 win over Jenkins as a freshman … led his team to four straight trips to the second round of the Class A playoffs … chose EKU over Western Kentucky and Kentucky. 

Personal – Son of Samuel and Imogene Sizemore … born on April 24, 1985 … sister, Charlotte, played basketball at EKU from 1997-01.
