AS A JUNIOR IN 2016-17
Appeared in all 31 games and started 29 of them … developed into one of EKU’s most reliable and consistent paint players … ranked fourth on the team in scoring (7.0 points-per-game) and tied for the team lead in rebounding (6.5 rebounds-per-game) … led the team by a large margin in offensive rebounds (67) … ranked 11th in the OVC in rebounding … also ranked fourth in the OVC in blocks (1.3 blocks-per-game) … finished second on the team in field goal percentage (51.9) … pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds against mid-major power UNCW on November 14 … that was the most rebounds by a Colonel in a single game since 2012 … had a big game in his return to his home state of Texas, scoring 13 points and grabbing seven boards at Texas Tech on November 19 … posted his first double-double (10 points and 12 rebounds) in a big road win at Jacksonville December 7 … also tallied a double-double (12 points and 12 boards) in a near road win at traditional conference power Murray State on January 19 … had a huge game in the road win over Tennessee Tech on January 28, scoring a career-high 19 points to go along with nine rebounds and four blocks … swatted a career-high five shots in a win over OVC Tournament champion Jacksonville State on February 23 … finished with nine points and nine boards in EKU’s season finale win over TTU on February 25.
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2015-16 (at McLennan Community College)
Played a key role on a McLennan team that finished 28-6 and advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Championships for the first time since 1998 ... earned honorable mention All-North Texas Junior College Athletic Conference (NTJCAC) honors, playing in all 34 games while averaging 8.0 points-per-game and ranking second on the team at 6.1 rebounds-per-game ... also led the Highlanders in blocks, averaging just under one-per-game ... recorded five double-doubles during his sophomore campaign, including a 23-point, 13-rebound performance versus Eastfield College on December 2 and a 21-point, 11-rebound showing at Angelina College on December 30.
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2014-15 (at McLennan Community College)
Averaged 2.6 points and 2.9 rebounds-per-game while appearing in 20 of the Highlanders’ 31 games.
HIGH SCHOOL
Averaged 14 points and 10 rebounds-per-game while playing prep ball for coach Billy Clark at John Horn High School.
