AS A JUNIOR IN 2017
Made a name for herself as a power hitter among Eastern's potent batting order ... Led the conference in doubles (19) … led the conference in RBI (51) … batted a .312 during her junior campaign with 19 doubles and six round-trippers … started all 58 games at third … tallied 54 hits … racked up a .526 slugging percentage … walked 20 times … went 5-for-5 when stealing … broke EKU’s single season doubles record at Southeast Missouri State on April 23 … notched two homers against Presbyterian on March 5 … was named OVC Player of the Week on March 6.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2016
Emerged as one of the team’s clutch hitters, finishing with a .295 average … picked up 28 starts and appeared in 37 games … knocked two homers and drove in 12 runs for the Colonels … also knocked five doubles … her solo homer gave EKU a 1-0 lead over SIUE in elimination game of OVC Tournament (May 14) … she finished the game 2-for-3 at the plate with the lone RBI for EKU … hit .367 with two outs.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2015
Had 46 appearances with 32 starts … notched 21 hits to include seven doubles, one triple and two homeruns … had 54 putouts … had 30 assists … had a .933 fielding percentage … went 2-of-4 with one run, one RBI and one homerun against Bradley (Feb. 21) … went 2-of-2 with two RBI’s and two doubles against California (March 7) … went 2-of-3 with one run, three RBI’s and one double against Tennessee State (April 11). 

HIGH SCHOOL
Two-year captain at Haines City Senior High … saw action at seven different positions for the Hornets … three-time second team all-conference selection … posted a .447 batting average as a senior … tallied 21 stolen bases in 2012 … also a three-year varsity player on the volleyball team … a member of the National Honor Society … graduated 19th in her senior class.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Benjamin and Tatesha Alston … born on Feb. 11, 1996 … chose EKU in part because of the criminal justice program.
