Played 54 games in the outfield during her freshman campaign … posted a .337 average at the dish … was eighth in the conference in runs scored (40) … proved to be lethal on the base paths after going 19-for-23 in stolen bases … logged 60 hits to include three doubles, a triple and a home run ... walked 12 times.

Played two years for the Steelers after transferring from Grand Terrace High School … part of a Premier Girls’ Fastpitch 16 and under team that finished third nationally … ranked in the top-25 in batting average in the PGF.

Daughter of John and Tina Sanchez … has two sisters, Kaylynn and Elisia … enjoys reading, working out and spending time with her family and friends … majoring in psychology.
