AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016-17
Appeared in 27 games as a freshman, starting seven of them … averaged 5.9 points and 4.5 rebounds-per-game … led the team with a 61.5 field goal percentage … ranked third on the team in blocks (12) and fourth in offensive rebounds (41) … scored eight points off the bench at SEC foe Auburn on November 17 … recorded his first double-figure scoring game (12 points) at Ball State on December 10, shooting 5-of-5 from the field … grabbed eight boards at ACC power Louisville on December 17 … poured in a season-high 15 points in a win over UVa-Wise on December 28 … notched 12 points in the Colonels’ OVC opener at Southeast Missouri on December 31 … shot 6-of-7 from the field in that game … played a season-high 33 minutes and finished with 14 points versus OVC regular season champion Belmont on January 14 … tallied 14 points – on 7-of-8 shooting – against conference Austin Peay on February 1 … pulled down a season-high nine boards twice – against Eastern Illinois on January 7 and Tennessee State on January 12.
HIGH SCHOOL
Named honorable mention All-City by the Lexington Herald-Leader and to the 42nd District All-Tournament team following his senior season ... was invited to play in the prestigious Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Game, alongside fellow Division-I signees James Boone (Samford), Quentin Goodin (Xavier) and Mason Faulkner and Carson Williams (Northern Kentucky).
