Cross Country – Earned first team All-OVC honors by finishing seventh at the OVC Championships (season-best 8K time of 24:25.6) … placed second on the team and 45^th out of 230 competitors at the NCAA Southeast Region Championships, covering the 10K course in a time of 30:30.5.
Track and Field – Won gold in the 3,000 meters at the OVC Indoor Championships in February (8:25.3) … also took silver in the 5,000 meters at the conference indoor championships (14:53.5) … his performance helped the Colonels win their first OVC Indoor Championship since 2008 … ran a PB in the 5,000 meters (14:19.4) at the Iowa State Classic in February … ran 30:09.2 in the 10,000 meters at the Raleigh Relays in late March.

Prior to EKU: Represented Spain internationally in the 10,000 meters at the Junior European Championships (he finished fifth) ... was also the Junior National runner-up in both the indoor 3,000 meters and outdoor 10,000 meters ... has recorded personal-best marks of 14:13 for 5,000 meters and 8:20 for 3,000 meters.
