AS A RESHIRT SENIOR IN 2020
Appeared in 16 games in the shortened 2020 season … went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI in the win over Towson (Feb. 15) … chipped in 1-for-1 with two RBIs in the win over Brown (Feb. 23).
 
AS A RESHIRT JUNIOR IN 2019
Appeared in 21 games with 14 starts … went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBIs against Chattanooga (Feb. 25) … went 1-for-1 with a RBI in a pinch hit appearance against Southeast Missouri (April 1).
 
AS A JUNIOR IN 2018
Took a redshirt season.
 
AT HOWARD COLLEGE IN 2016/17
Played two seasons for the Bison … was a member of the Western Junior College Athletic Conference Championship team and NJCAA Region Five West Championship team both years … was named WJCAC All-Conference Team, NFCA NJCAA Division I West Region First-Team, NFCA NJCAA Division I Third Team All-American, recognized as Most Outstanding Defensive Player at the national tournament and recognized as the WJCAC Player of the Week for March 12-18 during her second season.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a four-year varsity letterman at Rosamond High School in Rosamond, California … was Rookie of the Year and Second Team All-High Desert League her freshman year … named First Team All-CIF Southern Section and All-Valley Softball Team by the AV Press her sophomore year … named First Team All-High Desert League her sophomore and junior year … was the High Desert League MVP and broke the school’s single-season home run record her senior season … was named to the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years.

Daughter of Mario and Maria Mercado … has two brothers, Alfredo (21) and Sebastian (14) … is studying pre-optometry.
