Started in all 52 of EKU’s games … Named to ASUN Third Team All-Conference … Led the team in batting average (.379), hits (64), doubles (13), home runs (11), and RBIs (45) … Second in the ASUN in hits, homers, and RBIs … Had three home runs in EKU’s first four games … Went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBIs, and a homer against Valpo (Feb. 11) … Named ASUN Player of the Week following the performance … Had three hits against Georgetown and Ohio … Went 2-for-3 with a homer and four RBIs at FGCU (April 15) … Career-high five RBIs in a win over Jacksonville State (April 22) … Three straight games with two hits against Lipscomb and Bellarmine.
 
REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2022)
Appeared in 24 games, recording 19 starts ... Tallied 14 hits in 57 at bats, for a .246 batting average ... Totaled one home run against Central Arkansas (April 15) ... In the series, went 4-for-9 (.444) with a run, a double, and a home run ... Went 1-for-4 at home against Kentucky (April 20) ... Recorded her season-high two hits in a single game three times on the season, twice in the final ASUN Conference series at Bellarmine, went 5-for-10 in two days against the in-state rival.

REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2021)
Appeared in 47 games, recording 44 starts … recorded a hit in each of her first 10 starts … finished the season with a .262 batting average, three home runs, 27 RBIs and scored 16 runs… went 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBIs and two runs in a win at UT Chattanooga (March 10) … went 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs and two runs in the win at Belmont (April 3).

FRESHMAN (2020)
Made a huge impact in her first year as a Colonel appearing and starting in 20 games … posted a .317 batting average, with three doubles, four home runs, and 15 RBIs … went 3-for-4 with one RBI in the win against Winthrop (Feb. 14) … went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBIs in the win against Brown Feb. 23) … posted a career-high four RBIs hitting her first grand slam in a win at Bethune-Cookman (March 11).

HIGH SCHOOL
Played four seasons at Sheldon County High School … member of the Delta League Champions each year … the squad won the San Joaquin D1 Section Championship her first two seasons … was captain of the Huskies her senior year.

PERSONAL
Daughter of Vicente and Beatriz Barron … has two sisters, Velén Barron (15) and Bijou Barron (12) … chose EKU because as soon as she stepped on campus, met the coaches, the girls, and saw the softball field, she knew she would call Eastern her home someday … is studying criminal justice.
