Saw action as a reserve linebacker and special teams player in three games (San Diego State, Oklahoma and Arizona) … recorded four tackles with a season-high two stops versus Oklahoma … had a tackle for a loss against the Sooners.

A three-star recruit according to 247 Sports and ESPN.com … 247 Sports’ No. 4 safety prospect and the No. 8 recruit in the state … ESPN.com’s No. 9 safety recruit … played on a Laney College defense which allowed 14 points or less in six games … credited with 17 tackles, one sack, two tackles for a loss, one interception and four passes defended … named Region I All-Conference and All-National Valley Conference.
 
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2016 AT LANEY JUNIOR COLLEGE
Made 25 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for a loss … also had two interceptions and a forced fumble.
