Cross Country - 2021

2022-23
Cross Country – Won a gold medal with a personal-best 8K time of 23:22.40 at the ASUN Cross Country Championships... clocked a 10K time of 30:23.50 finishing in 30^th place at the NCAA Southeast Regional.

2021-22
Cross Country – Clocked a career-best 5-mile time of 24:26.6 at the Joe Piane Invitational finishing second overall… ran a personal-best 8K time of 23:52.9 at the Panorama Farms XC23 Invitational while winning the event… won a gold medal with an 8K time of 24:07.70 at the ASUN Cross Country Championships.
Track and Field – Ran a personal-best and EKU-record 3,000m time of 7:47.34 at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational… earned a silver medal with a mile time of 4:03.42 at the ASUN Indoor Track & Field Championships… clocked a career-best 5,000m time of 13:58.32 at the Duke Invitational finishing second overall… won the 3,000m steeplechase event with a time of 8:24.33 at the Payton Jordan Invitational… won two gold medals with a personal-best 1,500m time of 3:45.27 and a 5,000m time of 14:33.98 at the ASUN Outdoor Track & Field Championships… received a silver medal with a 3,000m steeplechase time of 8:35.81 at the NCAA East Preliminary Round… won the outdoor 3,000m steeplechase National Championship with a personal-best and EKU-record time of 8:18.70 ... that time was the second-fastest time in NCAA history.

2020-21
Cross Country – Won the individual OVC cross country title in March, earning a spot at the NCAA Cross Country Championships … two days after racing the 3,000 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships, he finished in the top third of the field at the NCAA Cross Country Championships … was one of only 47 student-athletes nationally to compete at both the NCAA Indoor and Cross Country Championships during that week in March.  
Track and Field – Earned first team All-America honors after finishing sixth in the 3,000 meters at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March … ran a personal-best and EKU-record time of 7:53.1 in that race … continued his amazing success into the outdoor season, breaking the EKU steeplechase record with a time of 8:32.9 at the Kansas City Trials of Miles Qualifier in early May … named a second team All-American after placing 10^th in the steeplechase at the NCAA Outdoor Championships (8:34.80).


Personal: Son of Salihaam and Abd El Majid Jaziri ... earned his bachelor's degree in sport management ... pursuing his master's degree in safety, security, and emergency management.
