AS A JUNIOR IN 2022 AT EKU
Played in 14 games and started four times … started once at designated hitter, twice at second base and once at first base … posted a .417 on-base percentage … went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run against Marshall (March 1) … started against Jacksonville (May 26) in the ASUN Conference Tournament and went 1-for-2 with two walks and a run … scored four runs and had one double … scored two runs in the ASUN Tournament, once against Jacksonville and once against Liberty (May 27) ... ASUN Conference Honor Roll.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2021 AT HILLSBOROUGH COMMUNITY COLLEGE
Hit .255 with a .407 on-base percentage in 36 games … had five home runs, five doubles and 20 RBIs while scoring 25 runs.
 
AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020 AT BROWARD COLLEGE
Saw action in 19 games of the shortened season … posted a .276 batting average and a .442 on-base percentage … scored 15 runs and had seven RBIs … drew 15 walks and struck out only 12 times.
 
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2019 AT BROWARD COLLEGE
Played in 35 games … hit .246 with a .343 on-base percentage … scored nine runs and had six RBIs.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned all-district honors as a senior in 2018 at Coral Gables Senior High School … batted .343 with 17 runs and 16 RBIs for the Cavaliers in 2018.

Full name is Nicholas Alexander Montes … son of Robert Montes and Ani Diaz … has one brother – Coco, and one sister – Angela … his brother Coco was a 15th round draft pick by the Colorado Rockies in 2018 after playing collegiately at the University of South Florida … majoring in sport management.
