AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2022-23
Saw action in 30 games … averaged 2.6 points, 1.0 rebounds, 0.7 assists and 0.6 steals per game … scored a season-best 16 points and dished out a season-high six assists against Miami-Middletown (Nov. 7) … also had a season-high three steals against Miami-Middletown … scored 10 points against Western Kentucky (Nov. 10) … had 11 points against Boyce (Dec. 10).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2021-22
Played in 17 games and started once … averaged 9.0 minutes per game … contributed 2.5 points and 1.2 rebounds per game … totaled 12 steals … shot 33 percent from the field … scored a season-best 15 points, on 5-of-8 shooting, and grabbed a season-high four rebounds against Alice Lloyd (Dec. 31) … hit four 3-pointers against Alice Lloyd … played 23 minutes against Georgetown (Nov. 9) and scored eight points in his collegiate debut.

HIGH SCHOOL
First team all-state selection as a senior in 2020-21 at Frederick Douglass High School … averaged 21.6 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game his senior season while leading Fredrick Douglass to a 19-2 record, a district title and a trip to the 11th Region championship game … shot 85.6 percent from the free throw line and 41.7 percent from deep while averaging three 3-pointers per game … was a two-time all-region performer … as a junior in 2019-20, he was named third team all-state after averaging 21 points, eight rebounds and three assists per game.

Full name is Dashawn Amonte Jackson … son of Antuan Jackson and Shavonda Brown … has one brother – Antuan, and three sisters – Autumn, Alleah and Destyne … him mom played collegiate basketball at Indiana State University … his dad played basketball and Lindsey Wilson College … his sister Alleah played volleyball at Mississippi State University … his sister Destyne played basketball at Wright State University … majoring in psychology.
