AS A SENIOR IN 2022-23 AT EKU
Appeared in 18 games … averaged 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds … shot 60 percent (18-of-30) from the field … hit 3-of-4 from 3-point range … after having not attempted a 3-pointer during his junior season, connected on his first 3-point attempt in the season-opener against Miami-Middletown (Nov. 7) … scored a season-high nine points against Brescia (Nov. 23) and at James Madison (Dec. 2) … had a career-high four blocks against Brescia … had a season-best six rebounds at JMU.

AS A JUNIOR IN 2021-22 AT EKU
Played in 25 games and started three times … averaged 4.7 points, 2.4 rebounds and 0.8 blocks per game … ranked 12th in the ASUN Conference in blocks per game … made 53-of-72 field goal attempts for 74 percent … had a season-high 13 points and six rebounds against Alice Lloyd (Dec. 31) … also had six rebounds against Central Arkansas (Jan. 4) … blocked three shots against Central Arkansas (Jan. 4) and again against Lipscomb (Jan. 18).

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2020-21 AT SOUTHEAST CC
Second team NJCAA Division II All-American … averaged 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 60 percent from the field … went 12-of-34 from 3-point range (35.3 percent) … helped Southeast capture a conference and region championship.
 
AS A FRESHMAN IN 2018-19 AT PERU STATE COLLEGE
Played in 27 games … averaged 6.2 minutes per game … shot 52 percent from the field while averaging 1.4 points and 1.5 rebounds per contest.

HIGH SCHOOL
Was a second team all-state selection at Norris High School as a senior in 2017-18 … averaged 18 points and eight rebounds per game.

Full name is Michael Wardy … son of Michael Wardy and Jeanne Boller … has one sister – Jordan … his mom Jeanne played college basketball at the University of Nebraska … majoring in general studies.
